  • Born June 20, 1971 in Little Rock, AK
  • His parents were activists against nuclear activity and peace protestors. They traveled the South until settling in the Northwest.
  • After he graduated high school in 1989 he decided to move to Hollywood.
  • He spent five years as a struggling actor, occasionally doing commercial work, before packing his bags for New York City.
  • His big break was in the Broadway production of “Corpus Christi.”
  • He has stared in 35 films, including “A Beautiful Mind,” “Sweet Home Alabama,” “Wonderland;” “The Hulk” and “An Unfinished Life”
  • Lucas wrote about the filming of "Glory Road" on his Web site, www.joshlucas.com.

  • He has starred in nearly 60 films
  • Voight received an Academy Award for his performance in the film "Coming Home. He has also been nominated for an Academy Award for his performances in both the films “Midnight Cowboy”and "Runaway Train"
  • Films include “Deliverance,” “Heat,” “Varsity Blues,” “Lara Croft Tombraider,” (which starred his daughter Angelina Jolie)
  • Recently starred in the CBS television mini-series “Pope John Paul II,” in which he plays the lead role.

  • His breakout role came in the 2002 film “Antwone Fisher,” where he played the lead.
  • Won the Independent Spirit Award for best actor for “Antwone Fisher”
  • Starred in “Friday Night Lights,” based on H.G. Bissinger's book, about Odessa, Texas’ high school football team, The Permian High Panthers
