Being a good neighbor and a valued part of the community is both a priority and the responsibility of the University of Texas at El Paso. Understanding and promoting UTEP and its varied resources to the community is one of the Office of University Relations' key functions.

Through the Office of University Relations, opportunities for interaction with various campus and community offices and agencies are created, linking UTEP to educational, professional, business, civic, community and cultural groups in the greater El Paso region.

The Office of University Relations also plans and manages numerous conferences and University Events, and directs marketing and promotional activities that enhance the image of UTEP, assist in the recruitment of undergraduate and graduate students, and attract more attendance to University sponsored events.
