Movin' Miners Travel Program
Where we're goin'...

Travel with the Movin’ Miners is a benefit of membership in the UTEP Alumni Association. Non-members can travel with us by becoming members of the Alumni Association (as either alumni or friends of the University). All prices are in U.S. dollars, and per person, based upon double occupancy unless otherwise stated, and subject to change until a deposit is made. Early deposits for all trips are highly recommended, as space is strictly limited and subject to availability.

Other Travel Destinations in 2010
Bhutan: Land of The Thunder Dragon. A 14-day trip departs on September 14, 2010. Special itinerary includes a side trip to the Angkor Wat Temples in Cambodia, a UNESCO world heritage site. The itinerary will be posted soon.
Pricing: Double-occupancy per traveler, price is being finalized, estimated price $4,800.00, does not include roundtrip airfare from the U.S. to Bangkok, but does include airfare on Druk Air, the Royal Bhutanese Airline, to Paro, Bhutan to/from Bangkok.
A single supplement is an additional $1,549.00
Viva Italia: A 12-day journey departs on October 19, 2010 to visit the Italian cities of Venice, Florence, Rome and Sorrento. It is an easy-paced introduction to the Italian culture, environment, history, and architecture. The itinerary will be posted soon.
Pricing: Double-occupancy per traveler, $3,492 includes round trip airfare from
El Paso and other key U.S. departure airports.
A single supplement is an additional $795.
Travel Destinations in 2011
Around the World by Private Jet: A 22-day trip of a lifetime on a customized Boeing 757 that has a limited capacity of just 78 passengers. Itinerary includes Machu Picchu, Peru; Easter Island, Chile; Samoa; The Great Barrier Reef, Australia; Angkor Wat Temples, Cambodia; the Taj Mahal, India; The Great Pyramids, Luxor, Egypt; Serengeti Plain, Tanzania; & Fez, Morocco. Two departure dates are scheduled; January 13, 2011 and October 28, 2011. This trip has sold out every time it has been offered! The informational brochure will be posted soon.
Pricing: Double-occupancy per traveler, $62,950 from Orlando, Fl. It does not include domestic air travel to the Orlando, FL point of departure.
A single supplement is an additional $8,150.
