UTEP Visitor Parking information
The goal at UTEP is to maintain an open campus for all visitors to the university. When you visit our campus, please abide by our parking regulations and park your vehicle in a designated visitor space only.
A VISITOR is any person on the campus of the university who is neither a currently enrolled student nor a faculty/staff member.
All visitors must acquire a parking pass when visiting the UTEP campus from either one of the University Gates Houses located at the East and West ends of University Avenue. The hours of operation for the Gate Houses are Monday through Thursdays from 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., and Fridays from 6:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. The Gate Houses are closed on University holidays and weekends. Friends and family of students who are visiting on the weekends may pre-arrange with the student to stop by one of the gate houses during regular business hours to obtain a visitor permit. During non-business hours and weekends, a visitor permit may be obtained at the University Police Department.

For guests at our office, located at 1608 Hawthorne, parking is available directly South of our office in the P-1 parking lot. The spaces are marked and are available exclusively for our guests. Please consult the image below for details.
